We have recently created a new way of working within our Technology teams, and because of that, we have created a new role as Technology Value Stream Lead, within our Strategy Governance & Quality Assurance cluster of Technology.

As a Technology Value Stream Lead, you will be responsible for leading the Technology Value Stream to create and execute the Technology Roadmap and plan & deliver high-quality technology solutions that align with the overall business strategy. You will be based in The Hague, and occasionally depending on the needs of the projects, in our Diemen Office.
You will have a lot of fun and good vibes in your position, when you have a natural helicopter view on deliverables and projects within your years of experience as a Senior Program or Senior Project Manager, Product Manager or Portfolio manager and when prioritizing, communicating clearly and decisively are close at heart. Not learned in a book but grown within your key characteristics.
You ensure that priorities are in order, the funding of the roadmap and all ingredients needed, and work closely with the Technology Leadership Team. This position represents Technology on the Portfolio Forum within our Strategy and Governance Department. So to say it simple, you are right in the center of the frontline of all technological and commercial initiatives of T-Mobile in The Netherlands!
By nature your decision making is done by actual data. When priority conflicts arise, you will lead the decision making process by building scenarios with the team, based on the facts and numbers. You are not easily influenced, and stay firmly standing within our challenger mindset and endless desire to innovate to be one step ahead of our competition, and keep the mobile and @ home lives of our customers as pleasant and innovative as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cooperate with project managers & project owners, product managers, scrum masters to align the business strategy with the technology delivery of solutions and services.
- Promote the adoption of new ways of working to improve technology deliveries
- Facilitate the technology cadence planning (definition, slicing and scoping) to assure that the value stream, program or project has an aligned actionable, prioritized backlog
- Manage and monitor the deliverables from the technology value stream (technology roadmap) and take measures to solve blocking issues (resource, budget, decisions) by involving the correct stakeholders
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate progress to stakeholders

You are the center point within our Technology Value Stream. You and the team are the entry point of all initiatives within our 4 subclusters of Technology (IT, Network, Technology Operations and Strategy Governance & Quality Assurance). Together with the Demand Resource Manager and the Roadmap manager, you are governing the roadmap implementation of all lines in Technology.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- At least 10 years of experience in a technology leadership role, like Portfolio Manager, Product Manager or Senior Project/Program manager.
- Experience leading teams in the delivery of technology solutions; Excellent knowledge of budget setting and financial management and planning.
- Good technical/functional expertise and broad knowledge of the business (Technology, IT, NT, and Business) and their key processes, way of working and organization
- Deep knowledge of Portfolio planning Processes and standards, Agile and Project management methodologies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in the telecommunications industry is a plus, and we prefer candidates that are working in The Netherlands for at least 5 years, and speak fluent Dutch & English.
