As a Data Analyst in Operations, you will drive business success through the power of data! As the go-to expert for data analysis and automations, you will have the chance to initiate and own projects that will shape the future of the business.
With the support of a versatile cross-functional team, you'll have the opportunity to build and monitor key metrics and processes that are crucial for the success of Uber Eats in the Netherlands. And through regular analysis and experimentation, you will help unlock new insights and opportunities for success.
What you’ll do:
Propose and own data analysis (including modeling, coding, analytics, and experimentation) to uncover business insights and facilitate decisions.- Execute, automate and optimize core analyses and processes at scale across the Netherlands and beyond, regularly reviewing performance.
- Design and analyze experimental and observational studies, communicate findings and facilitate launch decisions.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team that includes operations, product management, policy and others to complete projects.
- Build and oversee key metrics to ensure business performance and investment efficiency.
What you’ll need:
Three or more years of professional experience in data processing, analysis, and/or automation work- Proven leadership capability and/or demonstrated independent ability to deliver output that matches or exceeds stakeholder expectations
- Ability and experience in extracting insights from data, and summarizing findings / takeaways
- Proficiency in languages and tools like SQL, R, and Spark
- Experience with Excel and some dashboarding/data visualization (i.e. Tableau, Google Studio or similar)
- Application of Statistical Modeling and Machine Learning Algorithms to tackle some of the most complex Business Problems
- Ability to use Python to work efficiently at scale with large data sets

- Experience in handling stakeholder expectations and being able to understand the business need behind the request
- Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to work in a self-guided manner.
- Able to interpret and present data to various audiences in an engaging and comprehensive, yet succinct manner. Ability to translate complex technical terminology to non-technical team members.
