Job Description

We are on a mission to accelerate our growth in Digitizing the Pathology practice in the global health systems. We are looking for a strong services and people oriented leader to bring our Digital Pathology services to the next level.

Digital pathology propositions include Scanners, IT Infra, Workflow for Digital transformation including professional services of Solution design, Project management, Interoperability, Data integration and Migration, Education & Workflow services supporting the customers to digitize cancer diagnosis with Digital pathology and interoperability with AI and other workflow tools in the lab.

Your role:

You will have 2 dimensions of focus (short and long term)

Day to day: Onboarding new propositions, optimizing current propositions (eg drive automation, margin improvement, introduce proactive practices) and ultimately ensure retiring them.

In addition you are asked to drive transformation on the mid/long run towards digitizing and simplifying our service experience for our Customers as well as to support sustainable growth.

You are functionally part of the Digital Pathology proposition management team, where you will drive the service portfolio and readiness for our global service workforce to deliver excellent service.

What your team plans and designs for has direct impact on the Customer Experience, the Talented workforce, and our business results in terms of revenue and margin.

The digital Pathology proposition compasses of Digital Scanners, IT infrastructure for storing, viewing and analyzing and reporting the digitized images.

Your spectrum of collaborating is closely with Project Management Office, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, R&D, Supply Chain, Procurement and the Service delivery teams in the world.

You are part of:

As part of the Service and Solution Delivery (S&SD) team for Clinical Informatics you are a leadership member of the S&SD MT. You will lead a multi discipled team of approximately 15 FTE, called Service Planning and Design.

Primary location: The Netherlands, Eindhoven region, and scope is global business.

Key Accountabilities

  • Ensure in the early roadmap development, Service Design is secured with oversight on the full customer lifecycle.

  • Onboarding new Service propositions, optimizing current propositions and ultimately ensure retiring them.

  • Collecting and Prioritizing Customer needs from the Service lifecycle feedback into the innovation pipeline.

  • Managing technical customer facing user documentation, End to End Master data Management (Commercial and Industrial) for multiple product stacks working across different regions globally for New Product Introductions and Maintenance Releases.

  • Ensuring the compliance/adherence to the quality management systems and our regulators for what concerns the scope of S&SD.

  • Setup a comprehensive training plan for our Service workforce and Customers.

  • Responsible for quality and lowering costs, including strategies for license & entitlement management, monetizing software & software features, selling services based on software usage

  • Develops short, mid and long term plans that supports business expectations on margin including reducing/eliminating physical intervention, automating entitlement management & clean install base w/ digital updates.

  • Managing the IBase structure and management of the right tools to capture clean IB information to allow easy deployment and impact analysis on new releases/ versions etc...

  • Develops and drives software & Hardware operations strategy, aligned with Customer requirements in strong collaboration with Product management & Program management

  • Collecting and Prioritizing Customer needs from the Service lifecycle feedback into the innovation pipeline.

  • Lead the overall Services Portfolio creation and maintenance of the DCP portfolio

  • Identifies new capabilities required to enable services, professional services and solutions for the assigned business of scope

  • Drive with practice owners to identify capability development and deployment requirements & be the ambassador of the global capabilities in the markets and/or businesses

  • Supports in a robust Validation and verification across Installed configurations before releasing new solutions in the field to have low defects and issues in the installed base

  • Lead the team to champion service designs for Proactive/Predictive monitoring, Service tooling to help with proactive service models to achieve customer delight & employee satisfaction.

  • Ensure in the early roadmap development, Service Design is secured with oversight on the full customer lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor/ University degree,

  • Background in Informatics (must), Mechanical Engineering (plus)

  • +5 years experience in People Leadership

  • +5 years in R&D Software development and/or Customer Service

  • Experience in Healthtech is a plus

  • Transformative leadership towards digital service & SaaS oriented architecture

  • Familiar with one or more IT Infrastructure Industry providers and architectures AWS, HPE Greenlake, Azure

  • Familiar with compliance requirements to Medtech industry frameworks (FDA, MDR, IVDR, ISO etc)
